This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on yolalac.ro, for what purpose they are used and how you can manage your consent, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the applicable ePrivacy rules.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some services also use other similar technologies, such as local identifiers or measurement scripts. On this page, we treat them together where they have a comparable effect on privacy.

2. What we use on yolalac.ro

At present, the website uses three categories of technology:

  • technologies strictly necessary for the basic functioning of the website;
  • measurement and performance, through Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and Google Analytics;
  • maps and third-party content, through Google Maps.

Non-essential technologies are activated only after your explicit consent.

3. Types of cookies used

3.1 Strictly necessary

These technologies are necessary for the basic functioning of the website. This category also includes your consent preference, which we store locally in the browser in order to remember the choice you made.

3.2 Measurement and performance

If you give your consent, we use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic, the site's technical performance and how it is used. Google Analytics sets the cookies_gaand_ga_88QJXK2NNXwith a lifetime of up to 2 years and uses Consent Mode v2, so that no measurement is carried out before your explicit consent.

3.3 Maps and third-party content

When you choose to see the maps, Google Maps may load its own resources and identifiers. For this reason, the map is not displayed before consent and also remains available through an external link to Google Maps.

4. Third-party cookies and data transfers

Some services are provided by third parties, in particular Google (Google Maps and Google Analytics) and Vercel. When these services are active, data may also be processed outside the European Union, including in the United States of America, on the basis of the contractual mechanisms applicable to the provider in question, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. Your consent

You can accept, reject or customise the optional categories through the cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link available in the footer.

6. Managing cookies from the browser

You can control or erase cookies and other local data from your browser settings. If you erase this data, the website will no longer remember your choice regarding consent and will ask you for it again on a future visit.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to withdraw consent and the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP.
